Criw Cymraeg

The Criw Cymraeg

We are the Criw Cymraeg of Glyncoed Primary school. There are 8 members from years 3 -6. You are able to spot us around the school with our red Criw Cymraeg badges. Our aim is to improve the amount of Welsh used in and around our school. We meet on a weekly basis to make important decisions and share ideas of how we can improve Welsh at Glyncoed. We have an active role in encouraging all pupils and staff in using everyday Welsh and promoting our Welsh culture. We are working towards achieving the Bronze award for ‘Siarter Iaith Cymraeg’. To achieve this award there are 10 targets that we must meet to show that Glyncoed is promoting the Welsh language and culture throughout the school day.
