Free School Meals

Is your child eligible for free school meals?
The answer is ‘YES’ if ONE of the following applies to you:

  • Income Support
  • Income based Jobseekers Allowance
  • Income Related Employment & Support Allowance
  • Guarantee element of State Pension Credit
  • Child Tax Credit (with an income less than £16,190


Your child will also be able to have a free breakfast in school as well as a free lunch. Even if your child does not want to claim the free meals it is beneficial to be on the list.

We can also provide copies of the FSM form ( this is also on the bottom of this page for you to download) and provide help in completing the forms


The provision of free school meals is confined to families in receipt of Income Support, Income Related Employment Support Allowance, Income Based Job Seekers Allowance, Guarantee Element of State Pension Credit, Child Tax Credit with an income less than £16,190 (Any Families in receipt of Working Tax Credit do not qualify).
