Spring Term 2. 2016.

Spring and New Life.
 

We are hoping for some fine weather so we can use the outdoor area to investigate Spring. Children are very keen to improve Alice's Garden and have some really good ideas.
 

SPRING TERM 1. 2016.

Our topic for the Spring Term is "People who help us". Please see the overview below to see the exciting topics we will be covering.

We will be setting up a Topic table. If the children have any suitable resources at home we would be grateful if they could bring them in.

This half term our topic is Celebrations and Family. We hope you will be able to help your children by providing them with family photograhs. Looking forward to a fun filled half term. 

AUTUMN TERM 2015

Mrs Salmon and Miss Archer welcome you to the Year 2/3 Nurture Group.  The children have settled happily into their new surroundings.

Through pupil voice, they decided that they would like to learn more about Space.  So far they have investigated:

• Planets
• The sun
• The moon
• Astronauts
• Moon landings
• Space vehicles

Through studying this topic, the children have experienced a variety of activities.  These have included:

• Artwork e.g. painting, collage, chalking.
• Junk model making
• Small world and construction
• Outdoor games
• Forest School
• Cooking
• Role play

The children are eager to tell you about their school day.  Please remember to ask them about their learning.  Thank you for your continuous support.
