My Favourite Childhood Book
My favourite book as a child was 'The Enchanted Wood' by Enid Blyton. Read the blurb below to get clues about what might happen!
"When Joe, Beth and Frannie move to a new home, they discover an enchanted wood, and the Magic Faraway Tree with all its weird and wonderful lands! Join the children and their friends Moon-Face, Saucepan Man and Silky the Fairy as they explore the most magical places. Will it be the Land of Birthdays, the Land of Toys, or even the Land of Ice and Snow with it's magic snowman? Anything's possible in The Magic Faraway Tree."
I will read sections of the story daily and upload the videos here...so watch this space!
You may also want to share your own stories or extracts of stories here- send me videos or audio clips and I will upload them here for us all to enjoy! Remember to make sure you get your parent's permission. You can also download a template for a Book Review and let me know what you think of the stories shared!
Well done to all of you have been sending me photos of your maths learning! Remember- you will learn lots of fantastic and useful skills if you practise your maths in real-life scenarios!
Charley's thanks to the NHS and Key Workers
Charley and her cousin Megan, who lives 2.5hrs away, have been busy working on a top secret project this week. They’ve been busy chatting and crafting on FaceTime and have made this video. Charley did this completely independently! Harry, her younger brother, has a little part in it all too.
Charley's mum has said they have been talking lots about the NHS this week and asking about keyworkers and who these people might be and how they help us.
A fantastic video, Charley! Well done for using all your ICT (and oracy skills) to create this! I am really proud of you, too!
