General Information
Snack– All snack will be provided by the school. We kindly ask parents to pay via ParentPay on a weekly basis. School also provides milk to all pupils during snack time.
Medication - Please ensure that the school is informed about any medical condition
known to you that is likely to affect your child’s education. This information will be added
to our records. Please note that Parents of Asthma Sufferers will be required to complete the relevant medical form, which is also available from the school.

Partnerships with Parents
We welcome parents and carers into Glyncoed Primary School, believing we are partners
in the education of your children. There are many opportunities for parents to become
involved in the life of the school and to gain a greater understanding of its work. Throughout the year we will invite you as parents in to various sessions to work with your child.
Collections Register
Here at Glyncoed safety in paramount. In Apple Tree we operate a collections register. Please inform us if there is a change to the adults who are authorised to collect you child.
Home/School Communication
Text to Parents: Please make sure the office have an up to date mobile number and/or
email if you wish to receive vital information over text message.
Seesaw: Your child will be provided with a QR Code so that you can access your child’s learning journals on the Seesaw app.
If you wish to speak to school about your child, In the first instance please speak with Miss Lane and Mrs Gray-Thomas the class teachers.
Homework
We recognise the value in involving you as parents/carers in your child’s learning and in helping your child develop into a resourceful and independent learner. In line with our contexts each term, we set a series of homework menus for pupils to select from each half term.
