1. Practice the 10 spelling words of the week using the read, cover, write method.
2. Complete Spelling book pg.29 'Short 'u' and short 'e' sounds' 
3. High Frequency Word sets have also been uploaded which correspond to the 'yellow words' you would normally find in the back of their home learning record - your child should continue to learn these set by set.

Reading

1. Reading comprehension book pg.8 'What's next?'
2. All children have been assigned books on their BugClub account according to their appropriate level.

Creative writing task

This week we will be starting a new story called ‘We’re going on a bear hunt’. I have attached a video clip from YouTube which reads the story well. Please can you listen to the story and write a list of all the items the family will need for going on their bear hunt. For example – if they were going to the beach they may need a towel.  

Task: Write a list of items the family will need for their bear hunt.
