1. Practice the 10 spelling words of the week using the read, cover, write method.
2. Complete Spelling book pg. 33 'Tricky words 5'
3. High Frequency Word sets have also been uploaded which correspond to the 'yellow words' you would normally find in the back of their home learning record - your child should continue to learn these set by set.

Reading

1. Reading comprehension book pg. 12 'What is happening?'
2. All children have been assigned books on their BugClub account according to their appropriate level.

Grammar

Creative writing task

Continuing with our story last week ‘The Crocodile Under The Bed’. In the story the author uses the word ‘said’ a lot. Now we already know this can be a bit boring, can you think of new words the author can use. Do your new words improve the story? 

- I've uploaded examples of words instead of 'said'. Please can children try and think of their own words, the examples are there for help. 

Task: Write words that can be used instead of ‘said’ and write sentences using your new words.
