Spelling

1. Practice the 10 spelling words of the week using the read, cover, write method.
2. Complete Spelling book pg.26 'Adding s or es'
3. High Frequency Word sets have also been uploaded which correspond to the 'yellow words' you would normally find in the back of their home learning record - your child should continue to learn these set by set.

Reading

1. Reading comprehension book pg.5 'What are they?'
2. All children have been assigned books on their BugClub account according to their appropriate level.

Grammar

1. Grammar book pg.8 'Capital letters: names and 'I' '.

Handwriting

Creative writing task

This week we will be focusing on Jonny Duddles story of The Pirates Next Door. Children can listen to the story on the audio below and then complete the following task. Children can also draw the character they have chosen if they would like. 

Task: Create a poster to describe one of the characters from the story.    

Parents: I have included a word mat for descriptive words and a Character Poster WAGOLL.
