WALT : Listen to sounds in a nursery rhyme.
Activity Go to the Letters and Sounds website. In the Phase 1 games listen to the rhyme ‘Hickory Dickory Dock’ . Identify the different sounds.

Writing:
WALT :Practise writing your name
Activity: This can be done by tracing over the letters in large lettering. Show your child where to start on the letter by putting a starting dot. You might have to guide your child’s hand so they know which direction to move the pen.
Challenge –Attempt name independently after over copying a modelled example.
