This week’s home learning tasks are:

Literacy:
TASK 1
Comprehension books (these were issued to all pupils this term as homework). Only complete the page for the book you’ve been given.
First Comprehension 1 – page 10-11 (The wizard’s dog)

TASK 2
Grammar books (these are newly issued)
Grammar book 2 – page 5 (sentence punctuation)

Task 3
Spelling books (previously used in class)
Spelling Book 2 – page 22 (Adding the suffix y)

Task 4
Handwriting Books (previously used in class)
Page 24 (Unit 23)

Task 5
Creative Writing Task: Carrying on from our work around George’s Marvellous Medicine we are asking you to create a poster of similes to describe George's Grandmother! Remember- a simile compares two things using the word ‘like’ or ‘as’. Please see examples and a WAGOLL (What a good one looks like) below.

As usual please continue to read at home with your child. BugClub reading books are available online and teachers can monitor usage and update when new books need issuing.
