Task 5
Your creative writing task this week is based on the poem ‘In the land of the Flibbertigibbets’. Read the poem (or follow the internet link below for an audio version) and introduce yourself to the characters created. Have you heard of these characters before? Complete the word patterns sheet, which concentrates on alliteration.

Now create your own creatures that might live ‘In the land of the Flibbertigibbets’! Write a poem using the same structure-make sure you include alliteration!
