Creative Writing Task
Profile for my new teacher
I know that this week some of you are returning to school and will have the opportunity to meet your new teacher. However not everyone will be returning. Therefore, Mrs Thorpe and I thought it would be an excellent opportunity for you to write a profile all about yourself for your new teacher to read. This is your time to think about all the lovely things your new teacher would like to know about you.
Things to include:
WAGOLL
Mrs Eadie's profile
I learn best when I am using concrete objects or investigating for myself. I find it more difficult to learn when I have to listen to lots of information all at once. I am really good at solving problems in maths but might need some extra help with my writing particularly remembering my capital letters for proper nouns. My ICT skills have improved greatly and I am confident using most of the features on iMovie. As I like to investigate for myself I really enjoy subjects like science where I can carry out experiments and put my own ideas and predictions to the test.
I also enjoy learning about new topics in history and geography. I can think of interesting questions and activities to complete during our immersion days and thoroughly enjoy these days. I will always get dressed up and participate fully throughout the day. I am excited to learn new topics next year.
My greatest achievement in Year 4 was moving up 3 colours in my reading levels. I read regularly at home and try hard in class. I always complete my homework and can upload all my home learning tasks to google classroom. I am really looking forward to Year 5 and progressing further.
I think it is really important to be active and I enjoy most sports. My hobbies outside school include hiking, running and swimming. Therefore, I like to attend afterschool clubs like netball and football with my friends.
