Today you are going to be having a go at designing and making your very own Anglo-Saxon brooch!
Anglo-Saxon women used to wear brooches on each shoulder to pin together their dresses, so they had to be very decorative. The women loved their jewellery!
Have a look at the pictures in the document below and have a go and drawing your own brooch. Think about the design that you are going to draw on the front. What shapes are you going to draw? What colours are you going to use? Are you going to add jewels?
After you have designed your brooch, carefully follow the instructions on how to make your own!
