Handwriting and spellings
Each week, we will set 3 handwriting activities to do throughout the week as well as a spellings task with a list of 10 spellings to learn.
Handwriting
1. First day of handwriting: practice the joins shown on the top line. Write a line of these out in your red exercise book - remember you can do more if you think you still need practice.
2. Second activity of handwriting: focus on the words with the joins inside which are shown in the coloured boxes down the right hand side. Choose a coloured box, write a line of it before choosing the next coloured box.
3. The final day, complete the larger task in the center of the page. Copy this out in your red exercise book before trying the challenge at the bottom of the page.
Spellings
Once a week, complete the page of the Scofield and Sims book. Then read, cover and write the 10 spellings linked to this learning.
