Watch the BBC Bitesize videos episode 1 and 2 to learn about the story of Beowulf.

Think about the structure of the story. What happens at the beginning, middle and end?
Look at the written version of the text (Choose the gold, silver or bronze text).
I would like you to read it and highlight the important parts- characters, setting, problem, how was the problem solved, the events etc.
Draw a box around each part to find the important information in the story or highlight it on the word document.
Then, draw a table and split it into beginning, middle and end and write down all the important parts from the story.
Can you retell the story using as much detail as possible using the picture cards?
