WALT : Identifying loud and quiet sounds.
Activity: Make some sound shakers by putting different materials in plastic containers eg cotton wool ,pasta, pebbles, tissue ,metal spoons .Can the children identify loud and quiet sounds.?
Challenge: Look for objects beginning with the sound ‘g’. or find pictures of objects beginning with this sound and stick them to make a sound board.
WALT (We are learning today): Listen to a simple story and answer questions recalling the main events.
Activity: Listen to the story ‘Goldilocks and the Three Bears’

Challenge: -Can you think of a different ending to the story? Perhaps Goldilocks didn’t run away. Perhaps she said sorry and stayed for tea. What do you think they would eat?
WALT :How to mark make in a large or small way.
Activity: Watch the video showing how to make marks in glitter. Then try yourself either in a large way by writing in mud or water outside or in a small way using a paintbrush or felt pen on paper.
