Sequencing events/ Using time openers to order

This week in Literacy you will be writing a recount about the life cycle of a chick. A recount is used to explain and retell events. 

 

Today we will be recapping the life cycle and learning the time openers we can use. Watch the teaching video below. 

Activities

 

Red/Blue: Order pictures of life cycle of chick and include time openers.

 

Yellow: Order pictures of life cycle of chick and include time openers. Time openers provided.

 

Orange/Green: Sequence pictures of the life cycle
