Today we are going to look at poems that tell stories. 

Read the story The Powerful Potion, which I have allocated to you on bug club. 
What do you notice about this story? Why is it different to other stories? 

We will ready through the story together in our live lesson at 9am and discuss the features! 

Use the templates to retell the story! 

 

Gold- Use the table to write what happens in the beginning, middle and end of the story. I would like to see a detailed paragraph for each describing what happens. 

Silver- Use the story S template to sequence the story. I would like to see pictures and detailed sentences describing what happens. 

Bronze- Use the story S to sequence the story. I would like to see pictures and short sentences to help you remember what happens.
