Today we are going to be putting our archaeologist has on and looking at different artefacts!
Attend the live lesson for Part 1 where we will be exploring different artefacts from the Sutton Hoo burial and the Staffordshire Hoard. We will also be looking at archaeological finds from Anglo-Saxon times in Wales!
Complete task 1 and be ready to share what you have found in Part 2 at 11am.

Part 2 Tasks:
Bronze- Use the first table template and fill in the information for each source. What does it tell us about the Anglo-Saxons? What does it not tell us?
Silver- Use the second table template and fill in the information for each source. Then, write a paragraph to explain which artefacts you think are the most important for archaeologists to explain what has happened in the past.
Gold- Pick 4 of the sources from the Staffordshire Hoard. Write a non- chronological report in your books, using each artefact as a heading to explain what the artefact is and what it tells us. In conclusion explain which artefact you would find most useful and why.
