Symmetrical Patterns

Today and tomorrow we will be concentrating on symmetrical patterns. There is no video today- instead I would like you to explore symmetry yourself before I share the learning video tomorrow. 

 

Activities

You can explore symmetry the following ways;

  • Use the butterfly templates to create your own symmetrical patterns. Paint a pattern on one side of the butterfly, fold it neatly and open it up to see the pattern!
  • Explore symmetry through some of the online games (see the links below).
