Literacy:
TASK 1
Comprehension books (these were issued to all pupils this term as homework, you’ve already completed 2 activities). Only complete the page for the book you’ve been given. Early Comprehension 2 – page 5 (What are they?)
Early Comprehension 3 – page 5 (Finish the sentence)
First Comprehension 1 – page 8-9 (The Enormous Crocodile)

TASK 2
Grammar books (these are newly issued)
Grammar book 2 – page 4 (Writing in sentences)

Task 3
Spelling books (previously used in class)
Group 4 - Spelling Book 2 – page 21 (Tricky words 3)
Group 3 - Spelling Book 1 – page 27 (Tricky words 4)
Groups 1 & 2 -  Spelling Book 1 - page 4 (saying the sounds) 

Task 4
Handwriting Books (previously used in class)
Red Group – Page 23 (Unit 22)
Blue Group – Page 10 (Unit 9)
Yellow Group – Page 2 (Unit 1)

Task 5
Creative Writing Task - Can you write an advert for your potions that you’ve created? You will need to use amazing adjectives and some awesome adverbs to tell the person buying your potion what they have to look forward to. Add some top tips to help the person reading it know what to do with it. Do they drink it? Do they put in the in bath? Do they pour it on their heads? See below for examples and a WAGOLL (what a good one looks like).

You can send your work back to the teachers to check via their HWB logins. 

As usual please continue to read at home with your child. BugClub reading books are available online and teachers can monitor usage and update when new books need issuing.
