Nurture- Year 6

Hello and welcome to our Year 6 nurture page. Myself (Mr Davies) and Mrs Maidment hope you enjoy scrolling through some of the images from recent activities such as our Mexican tortilla afternoon. To accompany the Year 6 project "Hola Mexico" the children decided that they wanted to do some Mexican cooking, so what better way than a table full of spicy wraps! The children cut the peppers, prepared the salad and chicken and learnt how to correctly wrap it all up so none of the tasty contents fell out! Everyone tried some spicy salsa but only a few were brave enough to put it in their wraps!

The other images are of an art project where the children looked at Mexican family values and the values we want to have at our core in nurture. They designed and painted large posters to go up around the nurture room to show these.
