Happy New Year! Blwydden Newydd Dda

Last week we left the year 2020 behind and welcomed in the brand new year 2021! For our RE session this week we will be looking at New Year's Resolutions. Watch the teaching video below and then complete your activity.

 

I have also included a link to the song Auld Lang Syne, which is a Scottish poem that can traditionally be heard as the clock strikes midnight. The poem says goodbye to the old year and welcomes in a brand new year. 

 

Activities

Draw a picture of your New Year's Resolution. You can label your drawing with one word or you can write a sentence to explain what your resolution is. Remember- there are phonics mats on the Literacy link that will help you.
