This week, please read the comprehension on page 14 and complete the answer questions on page 15 of your comprehension book.

Remember to read the text carefully before looking at the questions. Underline any key information if it helps you to remember it.  

Grammar

This week please complete page 9 of your grammar book 'Apostrophes for Possession'. 

Spellings

Please work on page 29 of your spelling workbook and then complete the uploaded spelling list below.

Mrs Bird's class please complete the uploaded spelling list below then practice these words by writing them into your own sentences.

Numeracy

This week, please complete this week's abacus revision test uploaded below.

Don't forget to login into Bug Club where maths games and useful videos are available to help with the questions in this revision.

Handwriting

This week, please work on pages 12 & 13 of the Penpals workbook. 

Look at the examples on the page first and copy their joins. Please then practice these joins on lined paper but adding key words into sentences.

Creative Writing

This week's creative writing task is to write a book review on the book 'The Hodgeheg' by Dick King Smith.

Firstly, take your time to read through the book below:

Use the template below to see what is needed in your book review.

Make sure you include:

• What the book is about
• What you liked about the book
• Would you recommend the boy and why?
