Comprehension 

This week, please read the comprehension on page 22 and complete the answer questions on page 23 of your comprehension book.

Remember to read the text carefully before looking at the questions. Underline any key information if it helps you to remember it.  

Grammar

This week please complete page 13 of your grammar book 'Conjunctions to show cause'. 

Spellings

Please work on page 33 of your spelling workbook and then complete the uploaded spelling list below.

Mrs Bird's class please complete the uploaded spelling list below then practice these words by writing them into your own sentences.

Numeracy

This week, please complete this week's abacus revision test uploaded below.

Don't forget to login into Bug Club where maths games and useful videos are available to help with the questions in this revision.

Handwriting

This week, please work on pages 20 & 21 of the Penpals workbook. 

Look at the examples on the page first and copy their joins. Please then practice these joins on lined paper but adding key words into sentences.

Creative Writing

This week's creative writing task is to write an Adventure Story! The title of your story is 'Volcanic Panic'.

There is an example WAGOLL below to read through before writing your story. There is also a planning sheet and a success criteria. Please plan your story before writing it as this always helps!

Your story could be about a Volcano erupting and how the characters escape the appraoching lava or you may have your own ideas - the choice is yours!
