Comprehension 

 

This week, please read the comprehension on page 24 and complete the answer questions on page 25 of your comprehension book.

 

Grammar

 

This week please complete pages 14 and 15 your grammar book 'Revision 1'. 

 

Spellings

We have now completed all the spellings for year 5! Now it is time to revise them. Go back through your book from page 1, and choose a spelling page you struggled with and practise those spellings again.

 

Maths

 

This week please complete the attached practise test paper at the bottom of this page. 

There is also a problem solving task for you to complete - you can send your answers to us on Google Classrooms on Hwb.

 

Handwriting

 

You should have now completed your handwriting book. Please take some time this week to go through your handwriting workbook and check each page is completed fully.

 

Literacy 

Complete the creative writing task below. 

 

Humanities

 

This week please find out about deforestation. Use the Powerpoint and your own research to do this. Then write a persuasive argument for/against deforestation.

 

Science

Read through the powerpoint information about the famous scientist. Then use the think sheets to help you research his achievements.
