Creative Writing Task – Over the next few weeks we will be writing our very own minibeast stories. This week we will be looking at character and setting descriptions and the story opener. You may want to base your stories on a familiar story or create your very own! I have included some popular minibeast stories below. I will be retelling the story of 'The Cautious Caterpillar', which you can read and watch below. Take a look at the video below- you will see me pop up and help you write your descriptions! REMEMBER- I only want to see the story opener this week!
You can send your work back to the teachers by logging into Google Classrooms with your child's HWB login. I would also LOVE to see videos of you reading your story opener!
As usual please continue to read at home with your child. BugClub reading books are available online and teachers can monitor usage and update when new books need issuing.
