DIY Telephone

 

This is a super simple speaking and listening game that your child will enjoy.

Get crafty and create a DIY telephone using an old plastic cup or yoghurt pot. Poke a hole in each of them and thread some string through the bottom. Now your child can experiment with some speaking activities. Could they whisper messages into their telephone or pretend to call friends or family members? Could they call you pretending that they are on holiday and describe what they are doing and what they can see around them?
