This week, we would like you to have a go at creating a 3D beach scene. You could collect materials from the outdoors or just things around your home. Perhaps you could use flour or salt for the sand, cut up pieces of blue material for the sea and a slice of pineapple for the sun!
Now get some of your favourite toy characters or create your own with lollypop sticks or wooden spoons to visit the beach! Roleplay your day at the beach with your characters. What are they going to do at the beach? Will they jump in the sea? Will they build a sandcastle?
*Parents - encourage your child to use lots of dialogue to roleplay their time at the beach. Ask lots of questions to help with this too e.g. Can you put the girl next to the sandcastle? Can you put mum in the sea? Where will mum go next?
